Marketing Demo Playbook

A structured guide to presenting NanoTekno Molecular OS. Choose your audience persona for a tailored demo flow.

🎯 CEO/Founder Demo (5 minutes)

Objective: Show high-level visibility, growth enablement, and audit readiness. Focus on metrics, not mechanics.

1
What to say
"Welcome to NanoTekno Molecular OS. This is the executive dashboard—your real-time view into lab operations. Every metric here updates automatically as samples move through your workflow."
2
What to click
Point to the four KPI cards at the top: Total Samples, Completed, Avg Turnaround, Rejection Rate.
What to say
"These are your core performance indicators. You're processing 8 samples today, 5 completed, with a 32-hour average turnaround. Your rejection rate is at 12%—that's one area where automation helps reduce errors."
3
What to click
Scroll to the "Recent Samples" table. Click on any sample row.
Expected result
A drawer slides in from the right showing full sample details: ID, status, priority, assigned tech, timestamps, notes, and complete audit timeline.
What to say
"Every sample has a complete audit trail. Who received it, when it moved stages, who touched it, all timestamped. This is automatic—no manual logging."
4
What to click
Close the drawer. Click "Analytics" in the left sidebar.
What to say
"Here's your analytics view. Throughput trends show you processed 77 samples last week. The turnaround distribution shows most samples complete within 48 hours. The backlog chart tells you where bottlenecks are—right now it's in Amplification."
5
What to say (closing)
"As you scale from 100 to 1,000 samples a month, you need this visibility. You can't run a growing lab on spreadsheets. NanoTekno gives you real-time KPIs, complete audit trails, and analytics—so you can make data-driven decisions and stay audit-ready without the manual chaos."
Call to action
"Would you like to see how samples actually move through the workflow, or dive into compliance features?"

⚙️ Lab Manager Demo (7 minutes)

Objective: Show workflow visibility, bottleneck identification, and team coordination. Emphasize daily operational value.

1
What to say
"As a lab manager, your day is about keeping samples moving and techs productive. Let's start with the workflow board—this is your real-time view of every sample in the lab right now."
2
What to click
Point to the five workflow columns: Received, Extraction, Amplification, Analysis, Reporting. Note the count badges at the top of each column.
What to say
"You've got 2 samples just received, 1 in extraction, 1 in amplification, 1 being analyzed, and 1 ready for reporting. At a glance, you can see where your backlog is and which stage needs attention."
3
What to click
Click on a sample card in the "Extraction" column. Then click "Move Next."
Expected result
The card disappears from Extraction and appears in Amplification. A green toast notification appears: "Status Updated: Sample moved to Amplification."
What to say
"Techs update status in real time—either from the web app or mobile. You see changes instantly. No more asking 'Where is sample XYZ?' It's all here."
4
What to click
Click on another sample card. Click "Reject."
Expected result
The card is removed. A warning toast appears: "Sample Rejected: Sample [ID] has been rejected."
What to say
"When a sample needs to be rejected—maybe insufficient volume, contamination—it's one click. The system logs the rejection, who did it, when, and why. The audit trail is automatic."
5
What to click
Click "Samples" in the left sidebar.
What to say
"This is your sample registry. Every sample that's ever been received is here. You can search by ID, filter by status or priority, and drill into details."
6
What to click
Type "urgent" in the search box. Watch the table filter in real time.
What to say
"Need to find all urgent samples? Just type. The search is instant. You can also filter by date range—show me everything from the last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days."
7
What to click
Click the "Create Sample" button. Fill in sample type, priority, tech, and notes. Click "Create Sample."
Expected result
Modal closes. Green toast: "Sample Created: Sample PG-2026-XXXXXX has been created successfully." New sample appears at the top of the table.
What to say
"Accessioning is fast. Scan a barcode, auto-generate an ID, assign a tech, done. The sample is now in the system and visible to everyone."
What to say (closing)
"For a lab manager, this means no more hunting for samples, no more manual status logs, no more 'Is this urgent?' questions. Everything is visible, trackable, and fast. Your team spends time testing, not tracking."
Call to action
"Want to see how this ties into compliance and audit trails?"

âś… QA/Compliance Demo (6 minutes)

Objective: Show audit trail automation, SOP management, and inspection readiness. Emphasize risk reduction and time savings.

1
What to say
"As a QA or compliance lead, your job is to ensure everything is documented, traceable, and audit-ready. Let me show you how NanoTekno makes that automatic instead of a multi-week scramble."
2
What to click
Point to the SOP Library table. Show the columns: ID, Title, Version, Owner, Approval Status.
What to say
"This is your SOP library. Every protocol is version-controlled. You can see who owns it, what version you're on, and approval status. When a new version is created, the old one is archived—never lost."
3
What to click
Find an SOP with status "Pending Approval" or "Under Review." Click the "Request Approval" button.
Expected result
The status badge changes to "Under Review." Green toast: "Approval Requested: SOP approval request submitted."
What to say
"When you need approval, you request it digitally. The approver gets notified, reviews, and signs electronically. Everything is logged—who approved, when, their IP address, their signature."
4
What to click
Scroll to the Training Checklist section. Check or uncheck a training module.
What to say
"Training attestation is tracked per user. This technician has completed Safety & Biosecurity, Chain of Custody, but still needs DNA Extraction training. You can require certain modules before they're allowed to perform specific actions in the system."
5
What to click
Go back to Samples page. Click on any sample to open the drawer. Scroll to the Audit Timeline.
What to say
"Every sample has a complete, immutable audit trail. 'Sample received at 9:15 AM by Reception Bot. Moved to Extraction at 10:45 AM by Dr. Rodriguez.' Every action, every user, every timestamp. This is automatic—no one has to remember to write it down."
6
What to say
"When an inspector asks, 'Show me the chain of custody for sample PG-2026-000124,' you click one button. The system exports a PDF with the full audit log, SOP versions used, who handled it, when, and any deviations. What used to take 3 days now takes 3 minutes."
7
What to click
Go to Settings. Show the Role-Based Access Control matrix.
What to say
"Access control is granular. A Lab Director can delete samples, approve reports, edit SOPs. A Technician can view and move samples, but can't approve anything. A Viewer can only see data, no changes. Every permission is configurable and every access attempt is logged."
What to say (closing)
"For QA and compliance, this is about risk reduction and time savings. You're not manually reconstructing what happened. You're not chasing people for signatures. The system does it automatically, in the background, and it's all audit-ready from day one."
Call to action
"What compliance challenges are you facing right now that we can address?"

📝 General Tips for Demoing

Do's

  • Start with the persona's biggest pain point
  • Use real numbers from the demo data
  • Click around—show it's fully functional
  • Pause after key interactions for questions
  • Relate features back to their specific workflow
  • End with a clear next step (trial, custom demo, etc.)

Don'ts

  • Don't read from this script verbatim—internalize it
  • Don't go through every feature—be selective
  • Don't apologize for "demo limitations"
  • Don't say "In the real version..." — treat this as real
  • Don't rush—let them absorb the value
  • Don't end without asking for next steps
